Precepting contact hours

Every 6 hours of precepting a recent graduate and/or new RN is worth 1 contact hour. You may claim up to a total of 120 precepting hours towards recertification, which is equal to 20 contact hours.

1. Locate and fill out the preceptor form found on the last page of the Recertification Guide.
